Driving times are based on little to no traffic-many of the roads are windy and slower, so probably allow more time

The Inn at Round Pond [about 10 minutes]

Alewives & Ales in Damriscotta

Le Vatout, Waldoboro [about 10 minutes]

Damriscotta has all you need and is lovely. The Grill is wonderful food, Chrissy's has excellent breakfast and lunch. Hanford Grocery has all you need too.

Rockland is arty on the ocean off Route 1, about 25 minutes in light traffic.

Camden is upper end and cute on ocean, but a good 40 minutes or more.

Boothbay is touristy in summer but has an amazing garden, lots of eateries, and closer to Portland

I would start with Damriscotta and Wiscasset for B&B's.

Coastal Destinations:
Rockland, Camden, Rockport {about 1.5-2 hours}
Portland area {about 1.5 hours}
Boston area {abut 2.5 - 3 hours}
